Getting started · 5 minute read

A practical plan for putting Lisa to work.

Getting started begins with how your store contacts customers today. We work through service priorities, system connections and booking rules with you. Once configured, AutoEngage identifies likely customers, and Lisa handles the conversations and books directly into your DMS.

Start with your current outreach.

We start by discussing how your on-site or off-site BDC, marketing team, service advisors and anyone else doing outreach contact customers today.

Together, we look at where the work loses momentum: replies that wait, follow-up that stops when the customer postpones, scheduling that never becomes an appointment or outreach that overlaps.

That conversation helps establish what Lisa would take on and how AutoEngage would fit alongside the outreach already happening at your dealership.

Agree on programs and operating rules.

We work with you to identify the service priorities AutoEngage will support. That may include scheduled maintenance, eligible maintenance benefits, declined recommendations or another service opportunity.

AutoEngage uses available DMS history and service context to identify likely candidates for the selected programs. Your dealership can also choose an audience.

During setup, we confirm the dealership details, approved benefits and offers, contact timing, customer preferences and booking rules used in Lisa’s conversations.

If your store offers mobile service or pickup and delivery, we work through each offering’s available services, eligibility and scheduling arrangements separately.

Your team keeps its service workflow. Lisa carries the routine follow-up.

Confirm the systems and access together.

We confirm the DMS and scheduling systems in use, the access needed for the agreed programs and the people responsible for system approvals.

The connection supports the customer, vehicle and service context used to identify likely candidates, carry conversations forward and book directly into the DMS.

What we confirm together
Your environment

DMS and scheduling systems, store locations and the appropriate access contacts.

Your appointments

Services, appointment types, availability, capacity and booking requirements.

Your programs

The agreed service priorities, applicable maintenance benefits and dealership-authorized offers.

We confirm what the connection supports in your specific environment during setup. Explore DMS connections.

Review booking after connection.

Once the DMS connection and configuration are in place, the booking path can be reviewed using your store’s appointment availability and rules. That is when an actual appointment in your DMS can be checked.

The review connects the agreed setup to the work Lisa will handle:

  1. The customer and service context available to the selected programs.
  2. The dealership and program details used in conversations.
  3. The availability and appointment types used for direct booking.
  4. The booked appointment appearing in the existing DMS schedule.

We also discuss how results will be reviewed after launch, using the service priorities and evaluation approach agreed with your team.

Let Lisa handle the routine work.

Once connected and configured, AutoEngage identifies likely customers, and Lisa handles outreach, replies, follow-up and booking in the background.

Your staff sees booked appointments in the DMS schedule it already uses and focuses on the service experience. The customer conversation and routine scheduling work are handled.

Setup also covers how requests outside the agreed programs or booking rules should be handled.

A demo is a useful place to discuss your current outreach, service priorities and how Lisa would fit alongside your teams.
